It’s Nissu – a Finnish bread. I don’t know if it’s typical or traditional – it’s diffrent than a lot of the recipes I’ve found online – but it was my Finnish great-grandmother’s recipe. You know, one of those recipes that says “Add a few handfuls of flour…” LOL But it is sooooo good, and it’s become one of our traditions to make it (and eat huge amounts of it!) on Christmas day.
Oooooohhhh, your post is actually wordless!
Oh, the portage bridge. I don’t actually miss that in the winter – lol!
Lol I was determine to okay by the rules at least one month this year…it took me until the last one!
I get to see all the snowy glory of the UP soon. Not so tedious when you’re just visiting…
I love the stockings!! And the food. Yum!!!
My mom made the stockings. When I had kids, she pulled the Jessica off and changed it to Mom 🙂 It’s one of my most prized possessions.
Wordless Wednesday, I love it! That cinnamon roll thing looks so good!!
